The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize exhibition with theme “40th anniversary of executing President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament of Culture, Sports and Tourism industries” in Vietnam Exhibition Fair Centre, 148 Giang Vo Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi from August 28 to September 2, 2009.
The exhibition will be taken place on the occasion of welcoming August Revolution and National Day (September 2) and leading up to 1000th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi. There will be many activities within the framework of the exhibition such as: presenting 40th anniversary of executing President Ho Chi Minh’s testament; showing the photo and art works responding campaign of “studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples”; culture, sports and tourism fair 2009.
Taking part the exhibition, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) will display variety of images, materials, films introducing the construction and development achievements of Vietnam Tourism from its establishment to present, especially the period of innovation and international integration through last 20 years including some main fields: hotel, travel, tourism promotion, investment, international relations, etc The exhibition also displays many paintings reflecting potentials of Vietnam Tourism such as: beautiful landscapes, tangible and intangible cultural heritage, natural heritage, famous tourist destinations, typical hotels in Vietnam. In addition, some tourism film clips will be presented to promote Vietnam tourism for heightening people’s awareness of tourism during the exhibition.
On this occasion, visitors will be instructed to vote Halong Bay as one of seven world natural wonders at computer network connected to the internet in VNAT’s pavilion.
Culture, Sports and Tourism Fair Exhibition 2009 will be opened at 9a.m. on August 28. Of which some art programs will be performed to welcome the exhibition.
